SAVE OUR DELTA’S FUTURE MISSION STATEMENT

It shall be the mission of the unincorporated association, SAVE OUR DELTA's FUTURE, to speak out on behalf of Delta homeowners, residents, businesses, and communities to oppose any report, plan, or proposal, including legislation, that would, or potentially could, significantly modify or rearrange the land and hydrological features of the Delta islands and their contiguous and dependent communities in such a way as to reduce their economic, recreational, and social viability. Although the communities of Courtland, Locke, New Hope, Ryde, Walnut Grove, as well as Grand and Sutter Islands and contiguous areas are the primary concern of SAVE OUR DELTA's FUTURE, the association will also speak out where proposed Delta modifications north of the listed communities may have a harmful impact on those communities.
